Pediatric Nutrition: William J. Klish

Are vitamins essential during pregnancy? What kind do you recommend?

By William Klish, M.D.

: Vitamins are usually recommended for pregnant women. I recommend prenatal vitamins with minerals that contain vitamins such as folate, and minerals such as calcium, both of which are specifically required during pregnancy.
