Maybe it's far-fetched, but some child care experts think that babies respond so well to nursery rhymes because the simple beat -- "Hump-tee Dump-tee, Sat-on-a-wall" -- reminds them of their mother's heartbeat, which they heard for months in utero. But whatever the reason, nursery rhymes have been popular with infants and their parents for centuries.

She sings, soothes, and gets jazzy, with rap-reggae style numbers of more than 50 classics. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" never sounded so hip.
