When babies play, they like to call the shots: "When I bang on this drum, I hear a noise! Let 's do it again, again, and again!" Repeating the same motion allows your child to learn about cause and effect. But luckily for you and baby, this musical drum from LeapFrog does more than produce a thumpty-thump sound. The toy comes with three additional settings. Click on the first one, and with each tap of the drum a letter of the alphabet is announced in sequential order. The same letter is displayed in lights on top of at the drum so your baby learns to associate the sound with the letter. Switch it to the numbers setting and you get the same effect. And then when baby just wants to chill out with some music, he can bang away on the musical notes setting.
