Just like for European kids, perfumes made specifically for baby and toddler's sensitive skin are gaining popularity among American little people in-the-know. This makes sense--they smell terrific. Just one spritz of the subtle, alcohol-free formulations will leave baby's skin smelling even sweeter--and causing many to comment how wonderful baby smells. We're not talking Tinker Bell here, but light, floral blends with notes like chamomile, talc, orange, and jasmine. Some baby fragrances smell so good, even adults can wear them--and they do. At the beauty store Sephora (www.sephora.com), there are several baby and toddler perfumes to choose from. Among my favorites are Givenchy's "Tartine et Chocolat," a delicate scent with a floral blend; "Guerlain Petit Guerlain," a soft fragrance with notes of lavender, orange, lemon, and Mimosa; and Bulgari's "Petits et Mamans," a soft concoction designed for both moms and babies.
Another top-selling fragrance that smells beautiful is Muste la's "Musti." An eau de soin spray, Musti is even good for baby's skin--enriched with cornflower, linden and hawthorn extracts to soothe and soften. Most lines feature matching bath products with the same great scent.
